Project Preparation Services for the Mindanao Railway Project, Phase III (Northern Mindanao – MRP3 Project)

PRIMEX provided the services of eight national consultants to assist in the preparation of the pre-feasibility study which aims to present the project’s financial and economic viability through the conduct of market research and basic technical and financial analyses. PRIMEX has engaged a Geodetic Engineer will review available and relevant topological surveys to determine ground elevation dependent grids, geodetic grids, property boundaries, terrain and elevation. The Bridge Engineer will review and carry out preliminary analysis of the existing condition of the study corridor and conduct a preliminary assessment on the existing birdges. The Architect will prepare and review the preliminary architectural design of required infrastrutures and other supplementary structures and provide advice on the optimal layout, building capacity projections, preliminary design and cost estimates of both in the construction and building management/maintenance. The Landscape Architect will conduct prelimary analysis and assessment of the existing landscape design of the study corridor and identify optimal landscape design solutions addressing social and environmental sustainability goals for the Project. The Building Information Modeling (BIM) Specialist will identify BIM requirements for the Project using specific and latest project software and versions. The Heritage and Archaeological Specialist will conduct preliminary heritage impact assessment (HIA) and archaeological impact assessment (AIA) for the project. The Economic Specialist will undertake preliminary economic and cost-benefit analyses. The Rail Civil Engineer/Alignment Expert will prepare and review the preliminary engineering design of required infrastructure and other supplementary structures and provide advice on the optimal layout, building capacity projections, preliminary design and cost estimates of both in the construction and building management/maintenance.
