PRIMEX fielded an International Health Specialist who undertook a health sector review for Afghanistan to scope ADB’s potential future support. The main responsibilities were:

1. a succinct yet comprehensive assessment and report on Afghanistan’s health sector development, identifying top priorities for strengthening the health system and including a summary of existing sector documents, plans, and analytics, and a summary of roles of development partners and areas for current and potential ADB’s support; and
2. Specific recommendations and paragraphs for the AFG-ADB CPS.
