Sector Experience

PRIMEX has extensive experience in the health, education, and social services sectors across the Asia-Pacific region.

In the health sector, PRIMEX has been active since the early 1990s. Its first project was ADB’s Integrated Community Health Services Project (ICHSP, TA 1891-PHI) for the Philippine Department of Health (DOH) in 1993–1994, the first health sector project in the Philippines funded by ADB. Since then, PRIMEX has implemented 59 health-related assignments across Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, Georgia, Indonesia, Kyrgyz Republic, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Viet Nam. The Company’s work spans project preparation, implementation, and evaluation, including loan and TA fact-finding, review missions, and project completion assessments.

In the education sector, PRIMEX began with the design and delivery of training programs and courses, both as independent initiatives and as integral components of projects across multiple sectors. This foundation led to expanded work in technical and vocational education and training (TVET) as well as secondary education. Over the last decade, PRIMEX has provided project preparation, capacity development, curriculum design, institutional strengthening, and policy advisory services to ADB and government clients, emphasizing practical skills development, workforce readiness, and alignment with national and regional priorities.

Collectively, PRIMEX’s experience in these sectors demonstrates its capability to integrate health, education, and social services interventions into multisectoral development programs, addressing governance, capacity, and social inclusion challenges across diverse socio-economic and institutional contexts.
