Peace Corps Small Project Assistance (SPA): Program Evaluation 2017-18

PRIMEX fielded the services of a Local Fieldwork and Research Coordinator who accompanied the GDIT team during the entire fieldwork. The Coordinator worked closely with the GDIT Team and local Peace Corps personnel and carried out the following tasks:

1. Scheduling of interviews and coordinating of logistics for 11 site visits in Negros Occidental, Antique, Aklan, and Roxas City;
2. Ensuring that all existing stakeholders in the sites the team visited were contacted in advance and important point of contacts in the communities were aware of the visit;
3. Provision of interpretation services (as needed) between English and local languages during data collection;
4. Documentation of all interviews and discussions with interviewees from the local government and other grant recipients; and
5. Preparation of a report to GDIT, paying attention to the impacts and elements of sustainability of Peace Corps SPA grant.
