Coastal and Marine Recreational Areas for Supporting Coastal Livelihoods in Balochistan and Sindh

PRIMEX provided two experts: (i) Team Leader/Marine Resources Specialist; and (ii) International Economist/Regulatory and Policy Expert. Specifically, the Team Leader provided: (i) overall guidance in the conduct of the deep dive of policy, institutional, regulatory, and infrastructure, and gap analysis in support of the development of the coastal assets through ways of background analysis and stakeholder consultations; (ii) directions in the formulation of a coastal recreation development strategy for federal and two provinces; (iii) guidance in the capacity gap analysis to inform the designing of the capacity development plan; and (iv) to integrate the technical inputs and analytical results of this coastal recreation study to provide in-depth sector-specific insights to inform and recommendations to the implementation of the blue economy roadmap. On the other hand, the Economist/Regulatory and Policy Expert: (i) conducted a deep dive into policy, institutional, regulatory, and gap analysis in support of the development of the coastal assets through ways of background analysis and stakeholder consultations; (ii) provided economic, policy, and regulatory inputs to support the coastal recreation development strategy for federal and two provinces; (iii) undertook the economic, policy, and regulatory capacity gap analysis to inform the design of the capacity development plan; and (iv) provided economic, regulatory, and policy inputs and corresponding analytical results of this coastal recreation study to support in-depth sector-specific insights to inform and advice the implementation of the blue economy roadmap.
