PRIMEX fielded a Hepatitis C Screening and Treatment Expert who was responsible for the following tasks:

  1. Summary report of the current HCV landscape in Pakistan, including existing screening and treatment programs, integration with primary and secondary health systems, and identification of risk factors and strategies for prevention of new infections;
  2. Review and analysis of government concept and proposal for 6-year plan to eliminate HCV, providing feedback to the government and ADB on key barriers, cost estimates, and timelines;
  3. Collection and review of data on health metrics to assess system performance on key indicators’; and
  4. Recommendations for ADB’s small-scale technical assistance in the form of ADB TA concept paper and key Terms of References (ToRs).
