PRIMEX is fielding an International Health Expert who will provide technical expertise and advice on health-related matters during the project processing and administration specifically, in supporting the ADB project team in coordination and monitoring of the health component under the Afghanistan novel financing projects as per ADB’s project administration manual and relevant guidelines. The consultant will undertake the following tasks: (i) draft, review, and update project implementation and processing documents as assigned by the ADB Project Team Leader; (ii) conduct research and analysis to inform processing and administration of projects, ensuring the projects respond to the population’s needs and are aligned with the support provided by other donors; (iii) provide inputs and technical advice for updating other key project documents; (iv) support processing and administration of projects, including consultations with the health ministry and other key stakeholders including donors, as appropriate; (v) assist with the preparation of presentations and other briefing materials and incorporating of key feedback and comments; (vi) support ADB consultations, assist with incorporating comments and feedback, and contribute to the work of the ADB project team; and (vi) perform other tasks as assigned by the Central and West Asia Human and Social Development Sector Office (CWEA SG-HSD).
