PRIMEX provided the services of ten international specialists who were mainly involved in the preparation of detailed engineering design (DED) of the project facilities. Two Structural Design Engineers were mainly responsible for the DED of main, secondary, and branch canal systems for three irrigation systems (USISRSP, KSBISRSP, and MC35RSP) and the preparation of tender drawings for main and secondary canal systems for USISRSP, KSBISRSP, MC35RSP, RCHRSP, and SPWRRSP. They also assisted the Team Leader in the preparation of the required technical reports. The Hydro-meteorologist handled the investigation of water sources and clarification of the current progress of each project and the execution of the water balance study for Prek Thnot River Basin. The Geodetic Engineer supervised the conduct of mapping and topographic surveys for five subprojects including the preparation of contract documents and checking of the products. The Gate Engineer handled the preparation of prototype drawings of large gates for RCHRSP, prototype drawings of small gates for five subprojects, and technical specifications for gates. The Soil Mechanical Engineer was responsible for the investigation of soil conditions in the five subprojects, supervision of soil mechanical tests, and determination of borrowed areas for the five subprojects. The Pump Engineer was in charge of the preparation of prototype drawings of pumps for KSBISRSP, detailed drawings for the pump house, and technical specifications for pumps. The Cost Estimator handled the arrangement of work quantities for five subprojects, execution of unit price analysis, and cost estimate for five subprojects. The Construction Planner supported tender document preparation and checked the safety plans and programs prepared by bidders/contractors from the point of view of securing safety during construction. The Specifications Writer handled the preparation of tender documents.
