Disaster Risk Reduction and Management at the Local Level Technical Bilateral Cooperation Program: Field Mission Support

PRIMEX provided support to CEREMA Mission Team for their technical dialogues with the Department of Finance (DOF), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), relevant national government agencies (NGAs), and selected local government units (LGUs). The team, composed of a Project Manager and Project Coordinator, support in: (i) assisting in the development of the agenda and schedules/itinerary for the consultations with the different partner agencies and site visits to select LGUs; (ii) drafting and sending of letters of invitation to target NGAs and selected LGUs; (iii) obtaining confirmation of participation/ meeting appointments from target NGAs in Metro Mania and selected LGUs to be visited; (iv) drafting of letter to DILG Undersecretary Mario Iringan, requesting help/support to reach out to the LGU/local chief executives of Quezon City, Makati City, and Tuguegarao City; (v) making arrangements for land transport within/outside Metro Manila for the mission team; and (vi) providing logistical support while accompanying the mission team during the actual conduct of the consultations and site visits.
