Irrigated Agriculture Inclusive Development Project (IAIDP) (ADB Loan 3477 MYA): Package 3: Project Management Unit (PMU) Consultant

PRIMEX provided the services of three international consultants (Financial Management Specialist, Procurement Specialist, and Loan Implementation Social Specialist [LISS]), who provided support to the Project Management Unit (PMU) based at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation (MOALI). These consultants worked with their respective national counterparts in the PMU Team. The international Financial Management Specialist assisted the implementation of the financial management (FM) system of the project, including training of staff and revision of the FM Manual. The international Procurement Specialist assisted the executing agency (EA) and implementing agencies (IAs) in procurement activities and ensured compliance with ADB requirements by providing full assistance and on-the-job training to MOALI staff in all aspects of ADB procurement procedures, particularly the timely recruitment of consultants and procurement of works. The LISS led the PMU’s implementation of the Resettlement and Ethnic Group Framework (REGF) with support from the Gender and Social Specialist.
