PRIMEX fielded the services of two specialists: a Procurement Specialist who carried out the following tasks: (i) prepare procurement plan, bid schedule, prequalification document forms, prequalification criteria and evaluation procedures, bid documents and forms, and bid evaluation criteria and procedures; (ii) provide technical support during prequalification and bidding stages including but not limited to preparing minutes of prequalification and bid meetings, assist them in the preparation of responses to queries, and prepare drafts of bid bulletins and addenda for issuance by the client; (iii) facilitate prequalification evaluation and draft recommendation of shortlisted bidders; (iv) facilitate bid evaluation and workshop; (v) draft recommendation for award; (vi) provide technical support during contract negotiations for the Client; and (vii) provide technical support to the Team Leader as deemed necessary, and Safety Specialist, who ensured that the following detailed tasks are undertaken. The Safety Specialist was tasked to: (i) undertake a review of the Basic Design and prepare the HAZOP and HAZCON Plan; (ii) based on the review of the Basic Design, update the risk register and facilitate the conduct of Risk Workshop; and (iii) at 80% completion of the Detailed Design, facilitate a HAZOP workshop and document results of the said workshop.
