PRIMEX was involved in the project preparation stage and provided the services of an Environment Specialist, Transport Economist, Land Acquisition and Resettlement Specialist, Social Development and Gender Specialist, Development Communication Specialist, and Civil/Structural Engineer. The specialists participated in the following key activities: (i) Feasibility Study and Project Structuring, determining the viability of the project and identification of the most appropriate implementation option; (ii) Management of the PPP Bidding Process, identifying the right procurement option through: (a) government-implemented procurement through applicable models of financing; (b) engagement of a private partner/investor via PPP or Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT); or (c) combination of (a) and (b); and (iii) Assistance and Advisory until Financial Close, ensuring effective transaction and bid process and support to contract execution until financial closure.
