PRIMEX Consultant Team (PCT) will be working alongside the Core Team of Consultants (CTC), collecting secondary and primary data through literature review and the conduct of various surveys and stakeholder consultations at potential project sites. The results of these data-gathering activities will be compiled, analyzed, and consolidated into working papers or discussion documents for the CTC specialists to use in their feasibility-level analysis and preparation of the proposed Solar Powered Irrigation Project (SPIP). PRIMEX will carry out detailed feasibility study in selected locations for establishment of Solar Powered Irrigation Systems (SPIS) and will undertake consultations on target project sites with different stakeholders by working closely with the Department of Agriculture (DA), Bureau of Soils and Water Management (BSWM), Bureau of Agricultural and Fisheries Engineering (BAFE), the office of the Farm and Fisheries Clustering and Consolidation Program (F2C2) and regional field offices proposed by implementing agencies (IAs). Key deliverables are: (i) findings of initial consultation with farmers; (ii) target farm models; (iii) ground water analysis; (iv) solar plant design; (v) designs; (vi) cooperative analysis; (vii) farmer support program; (viii) management, operation and maintenance (MOM) business plan; (ix) survey for economic and financial analysis; (x) baseline environmental and social safeguards surveys, consultants, and ensure readiness of proposed projects on safeguard aspects; (xi) gender equity and social inclusion (GESI) assessment and action plan; (xii) implementation support plan; (xiii) project readiness support; and (xiv) project administration manual (PAM). PRIMEX is fielding national consultants, namely: Irrigated Agriculture Specialist/Team Leader, Farmers Cooperative and Agribusiness Specialist, Environmental Technician, Hydrogeologist, Indigenous People Officer, Gender and Social Inclusion Specialist, Social Safeguards Officer (Involuntary Resettlement), Geographic Information System (GIS) Operator, Irrigation Engineer.
