PRIMEX fielded a Knowledge Specialist who was responsible to: (i) prepare and implement the production process following the guidelines and procedures required for producing ADB KPs (e.g., publications, articles, audiovisual products); (ii) coordinate any additional inputs, approvals, layout, and design, including researching photographs, proofreading, final signoffs, upload to Development Asia, adb.org and other relevant ADB platforms for dissemination; and (iii) follow ADB guidelines and procedures in organizing knowledge services such as events in coordination with the organizing team, the expert will review and provide inputs in the preparation of pertinent documents, materials, and communications. This would include managing speakers, resource persons and IT support, to name a few. The expert would also ensure tasks-related documentation, virtual platform arrangements, promotions and marketing, and contracting are implemented in an orderly and timely manner, and in accordance with ADB procedures. The expert will also coordinate with pertinent departments, divisions, and personnel in publishing the KP and organizing the event following ADB standards and procedures. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to the following: (a) draft an implementation plan for each event organized and monitor achievement of each task accordingly; (b) manage speakers, resource persons, and IT support; (c) organize team meetings in preparation for events; (d) manage the recruitment of consultants, resource persons or service providers (drafting of TORs, budget, and recruitment); (e) manage financial administration including budgeting of costs, tracking of costs, expenses liquidation in accordance with the TA Disbursement Handbook related to the said events with support from the TA Administrative Assistant (consultant); (f) draft concept notes, programs, blurbs, and events materials; and (g) prepare highlights of discussions on knowledge exchanges, activities, and events. The Knowledge and Communications Specialist was also expected to carry out other tasks as needed to ensure the smooth implementation of knowledge management under the TA.
